Press links – Final Report on the Initiative

Since the Women Lawyers of Utah released its final report entitled “The Utah Report: The Initiative on the Advancement and Retention of Women in Law Firms,” WLU has received national press from the Wall Street Journal (online), ABA Journal (online), FindLaw, Ms. J.D., The Project for Attorney Retention website and national expert Cynthia Calvert’s website.
Also, the local NPR affiliate, KUER, aired an interview of WLU President, Melanie Vartabedian, by Tasha Cook regarding the Initiative on Monday, November 15. Please join Women Lawyers of Utah on Wednesday, October 20th 8pm-10:30pm at Brewvies Cinema Pub for the CANCER BITES event, which is a fundraiser to benefit Huntsman Cancer Foundation.
There will be a Classic Horror Double Feature of the Orignial Night of the Living Dead and the Original House on Haunted Hill.
The cost is $25 and it includes T-Shirt and Double Feature.
This event is open to EVERYBODY over 21 years of age.
