My legal practice focuses primarily on representing parties in cases filed under Chapter 7 and 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. I regularly represent trustees, debtors, creditors, equity holders, committees, and lenders in complex workouts and bankruptcy cases nationally, regionally and locally. I have significant experience in federal court litigation, including bankruptcy litigation and appeals; Chapter 11 plan formation and confirmation, including disputes related to plan confirmation; debt workout; asset and debt purchases and sales; and insolvency litigation, including preference, fraudulent transfer and other types of avoidance and clawback litigation. I also have significant experience representing receivers in SEC civil enforcement actions, and I serve on the Panel of Chapter 7 Trustees for the District of Utah.
I was President of Women Lawyers of Utah from 2009 to 2010, and have served and continue to serve in numerous professional and civic leadership roles, including the following:
