The Utah Office of the Attorney General, White Collar & Commercial Enforcement Division, has an immediate opening for a criminal prosecutor in the Mortgage & Financial Fraud Unit. This Unit prosecutes securities fraud, mortgage fraud, and other types of white collar financial crimes. A minimum of three years experience in felony cases is preferred and must practice law as an active member of the Utah State Bar in good standing. Salary is commensurate with experience in conjunction with the Attorney General’s Office career service matrix.

The Utah Attorney General’s Office, Litigation Division, has an opening for an attorney to defend government entities and their employees in civil litigation involving employment disputes and related civil rights matters and to provide employment advice to client agencies. At least five years of complex civil litigation experience in state and federal courts is required. Preference will be given to applicants with experience representing government entities and their employees in employment and civil rights matters. Applicant should possess excellent written and oral advocacy skills and should have the experience and ability to independently take over an existing caseload, draft complex dispositive motions, and try jury and non-jury cases of a complicated nature. Current membership in the Utah State Bar is required.
