CJA Panel Openings
Utah’s trial court CJA Panel is accepting applications from attorneys interested in joining the CJA Panel to represent accused persons who are financially unable to retain counsel in federal criminal proceedings, beginning in 2022. Applications for admission to the Salt Lake City and St. George CJA Panels are both open. All attorneys must fill out this form if they are seeking new membership on the panel. (Existing attorneys will be sent a separate form for re-application). Application decisions will be made based on case needs, panel size, panel composition, panel conflicts, and panel caseload. Applications should be submitted by December 1 for consideration for 2022 appointments.
For 2022, the CJA Committee is using Google Forms to accept applications. Do NOT print the form and fill it out. DO fill out the form directly through the link. No google account is required.
