Federal Judicial Law Clerk Opening in Saint George
The United States District Court for the District of Utah is accepting applications for the position of
Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Ann Marie McIff Allen, United States District Judge. This is a term
law clerk position with an employment assignment of one to four years. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of assigned civil and criminal cases from inception to conclusion; reviewing all complaints, petitions, motions and pleadings to determine issues involved and bases for relief; performing legal research as required; and drafting appropriate bench memoranda, proposed orders and opinions for the Judge’s review. The successful candidate must have a Juris Doctorate degree and be a member in good standing of the bar of a state, territory, or Federal Court of general jurisdiction. It is strongly preferred that the successful candidate be in the St. George area during the period of employment and the position will require travel between St. George and Salt Lake City on occasion. The position will remain open until filled.  More information is available here.
