Michael Best & Friedrich - Mid-to-Senior Level Corporate Associate

Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is seeking a full-time associate (4+ years experience) or senior counsel to work in any of our offices.  In this role, the attorney will work directly with our Transactional Practice Group. The attorney will provide legal counsel covering the entire business life cycle to all sizes of publicly traded and privately held companies, individual and institutional investors, family trusts, and other entities. The attorney should have prior experience working on public company deals or financings, and regulatory/reporting work.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, English or other relevant major

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school

• Excellent academic credentials

• Experience dealing with the finances of public companies

• Proficient in understanding financial statements

• Skilled in Excel and spreadsheet creation and manipulation

• Detail oriented with experience in law review or similar editing

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

• Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
