Park City Municipal - Law Clerk - Part Time

SALARY:                 $13.49 - $22.75 DOE

 This position is a part-time position for 16 to 28 hours per week and is non-benefited.

Required: Applicants must have graduated from an accredited Law School or be enrolled as a 2L or 3L law student.  3L or graduates are preferred.

A successful candidate will work under the supervision of an attorney in the City Attorney’s Office and may be invited to work full-time over the summer or as circumstances permit. 

Projects include Legal research and memorandum preparation; drafting ordinances, resolutions, pleadings, court filings and contracts; legislative research; and administrative support.

Assignments vary but primarily relate to researching Utah statutory law and common law in areas including

Land Use, Civil Litigation, Open Meetings Law, Criminal Law, Contracts, Water Law.

Membership with Utah State Bar not required.
