Fabian VanCott - Associate Attorney

Job Description:

Fabian Vancott, a large law firm in downtown Salt Lake City is seeking multiple associate attorneys with 2-5 years of experience in either corporate and business transactional work or general commercial litigation, preferably with a private law firm.  As a member of our Corporate & Business Transactional Group or our Complex Litigation Group, you will be working with a very experienced team of 30+ lawyers where you will have the opportunity if in the corporate practice area to provide high level legal advice to business clients at every stage of the business life cycle, or if in the litigation practice area to litigate cases for regional and national companies across numerous industries.  This position will provide significant experience and growth opportunities for continued development of your career as a professional lawyer and possible shareholder at Fabian VanCott.

Qualifications:

Candidate must be a member of the Utah State Bar, Nevada State Bar, or would be willing to become a member of either bar.  If not currently a member of the Utah or Nevada bar, candidate must be a member of the bar or another state in the U.S. and must have a J.D. degree from an accredited university.  The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of general commercial litigation experience, demonstrated commitment to ethics, possess excellent communication, writing and organizational skills, be self-motivated, responsive to client needs, and capable of working effectively with fellow attorneys in a diverse and team-oriented environment.
