Parsons Behle & Latimer - Litigation Associate

Parsons Behle & Latimer is seeking a litigation associate with 4-7 years of experience to join our Salt Lake City, Utah office to assist our clients with resolving a broad range of disputes. As a member of our litigation department, you would have the opportunity to provide litigation services for local, regional, and national companies and will handle a variety of cases for clients with unique litigation needs.

Parsons offers its associates a comprehensive compensation package that includes a competitive base salary, significant performance bonuses, an associate sabbatical, traditional health and dental insurance, outstanding retirement benefits, mental health and personal wellbeing resources, skills training, and a defined path to shareholder candidacy.

Additionally, Parsons recognizes that every associate defines career success differently, so the firm offers flexible and individualized career paths that are developed in close consultation with each associate.  Parsons offers alternative billable hour minimum requirements (and commensurate salary) after an associate’s second year with the firm, at which time, associates may choose their minimum requirement from three available paths. Parsons values the contributions of every associate and strives to give every associate the opportunity to succeed regardless of the chosen path.

Parsons also has a strong tradition of public service and encourages and supports associate participation in pro bono projects. Associates may count up to 50 hours of pro bono service each year towards their billable hour minimum. Parsons will consider and evaluate those opportunities brought to the firm by associates. With prior approval of the Board of Directors, extraordinary pro bono activity that exceeds 50 hours may be included in the billable hourly requirement.
